Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking a Compliance Clerk to strengthen the compliance team within the Transport operation. You will support Compliance Controllers in monitoring legal compliance for department and agency drivers, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Key duties include auditing agency documentation, investigating missing mileage, and managing extensive data entry to uphold transport compliance. Training will be provided, with a focus on continuous improvement and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Docs and managing large amounts of data.
• Self-motivated, analytical, data-focused, highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Previous knowledge of Transport Compliance would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Support Compliance Controllers in monitoring legal compliance for the department’s and agency drivers.
• Investigate missing mileage to ensure Transport meet targets.
• Complete check for Time Right and Lead with large data across agency and employed drivers.
• Complete audits of agency documentation.
• Ensure drivers cards and vehicles are downloaded in line with legal and company requirements.
• Manage a large amount of data entry to maintain Transport compliance.
• Provide correct and reliable information to the traffic teams to manage driver and vehicle compliance.
• Support traffic teams to drive compliance and promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is filed correctly.
• Identify trends and report to relevant managers within the Transport Department.
• Assist with completing peers and senior management tasks during sickness and annual leave
