Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Transport Clerk to join a busy warehouse team. The role focuses on administration, data accuracy, and driver support across shift patterns.

You will handle driver queries, paperwork, and compliance, using MS Office. Experience in transport operations and systems like Microlise or Taco Master is desirable.

This permanent, full-time role offers a base rate with shift premiums and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience is required.
• Experience working within a Transport Operation (Desirable).
• Excellent IT skills - All Microsoft packages.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Has previous experience in systems such as Microlise, Taco Master (Desirable).
• Attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for driver queries, escalating issues to first line managers as required.
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing in line with compliance and audit requirements.
• Support compliance with legal, corporate, and customer requirements for safety, service, and data integrity.
• Escalate driver concerns, performance issues, or welfare matters to first line managers as appropriate.
• Encourage compliance with site rules, safety standards, and operational procedures during shift interactions.
• Dispatch and debrief drivers, ensuring all paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off / 6:00 -18:00 / 18:00 -6:00
