Buckinghamshire Council is looking for a dedicated Transport Assistant to support the Client Transport Team. This role involves delivering administrative and financial support, focusing on data management and customer service, while contributing to the Client Transport improvement journey.
Buckinghamshire Council has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Assistant within the Client Transport Team.
We are seeking a candidate to deliver high-quality administrative and financial support, enabling the service to provide excellent customer service and support the client transport improvement journey.
The role primarily supports the Client Transport Finance Team, involving data management, processing invoices, personal transport budget claims, and handling phone enquiries from parents and carers.
The Client Transport Compliance Team will also provide support, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the Buckinghamshire Council ID applications process.
The successful candidate will support the transport unit as directed by their manager.

Transport Services offers integrated passenger transport for children, social care transport, and supports public transport infrastructure.
The service manages high-volume activities for thousands of children, including those with special educational needs (SEN), and handles high-value contracts with suppliers.
The post holder will be part of a dedicated team reporting to the Client Transport Manager.

This role is 'any-desk', requiring connectivity to our network for access to digital resources, either from home or an office. You will need to work from the office a few times a week, depending on team requirements.
You should be highly organized, capable of supporting the Client Transport team effectively, and possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
