Job summary

Newrest in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dispatch Allocator to support the Transport Team in managing daily operations for airline flight dispatch. You will take ownership to meet operational objectives and SLA targets while coordinating inbound and outbound flight schedules and routing to drivers.

The role requires coordinating with airlines and handling agents, ensuring block plans, dispatch documentation, and compliance with CAA and DfT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure off Dock schedules are met.
• Ensure inbound flights are de-catered and departing flights are catered in time to meet SLAs.
• Liaise with airlines and handling agents to meet departure times and SLAs.
• Ensure block plans are checked and updated for following day/weeks flights.
• Ensure block plans are followed and teams allocated to meet departure times and SLAs.
• Ensure dispatch documentation follows CAA and DFT regulations.
• Ensure correct vehicles are allocated for the requirement.
• Print tickets when out of hours aircraft or flight changes happen.
• Liaise with all departments in event of aircraft or flight changes.
• Maintain full and clear operational logs.
• Adhere to COSHH and HACCP at all times.
• Adhere to clean as you go standard.
• Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
• Carry out primary security checks of airline equipment as per CAA and DfT rules.
• Carry out vehicle security searches per CAA and DfT rules.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Ensure off Dock schedules are met.

4. Ensure block plans are checked andupdate the following day/weeks flights.

6. Ensure all dispatch documentationfollows CAA and DFT regulations.
7. Ensure the correct vehicles areallocated for the correct requirement.
8. Print tickets when out of hours aircraftor flight changes happen.
9. Liaise with all departments in the eventof aircraft or flight changes.
10. Fulland clear Operational logs to be maintained and completed.
11. EnsuringCOSHH and HACCP, are adhered to at all times.
12. Adhereto clean as you go standard.
13. Adhereto inflight services security compliance.
14. Carryout primary security checks of the airline equipment in accordance with bothCAA and DfT regulations.
15. Carryout vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.

Rotating Nine and half hour Shifts, 5 on 3 off, start times from 4am, you must be able to stay until the flights leave, which means, extending shifts on a regular basis.
