Great Bear in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a Transport Administrator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on providing administrative support, data accuracy and timely reporting for both Transport and Finance functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Regularly update the WTD system, ensuring data is current and accurate.
• Monitor and maintain records for agency drivers; process invoices using SAP.
• Update training and compliance systems and run site reports.
• Input and monitor drivers' holidays and sickness; maintain attendance systems.
• Create and provide daily reports for Transport and Finance.
• Receive and monitor fuel deliveries; maintain fuel monitoring system.
• Carry out general administrative tasks (ordering uniforms, stationery).
• Liaise with Regional Partners regarding invoicing and PO requisitions.
• Support timely resolution of customer queries and complaints.
• Monitor daily and report outstanding PODs.
• Record and monitor subcontractor activities; report delivery KPIs and update customer portal.
• Support compliance by maintaining vehicle data.
