Workchain in Abingdon is seeking a Transport Administrator to join a busy transport team. The role focuses on pallet deliveries, customer service, driver support and operational coordination, with a proactive approach to administration and data accuracy.

You will support dispatch, handle customer queries, manage emails and calls, coordinate with depots, and use EDC systems and pallet portal. The position is 9am–7pm, offered as temp to perm with a salary of £32,500.

Formación

• Experience in transport, logistics or administration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to investigate problems and find practical solutions.
• Confidence communicating with drivers, customers, depots and colleagues.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Dispatch support for drivers and ensure access to EDC systems.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Produce KPI reports and address issues to maintain standards.
• Manage incoming emails and calls, delivering timely responses.
• Handle customer claims related to delays, damages, and delivery issues.
• Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries.
• Book consignments and process pallet portal jobs.
• Coordinate inbound storage and dispatch with storage team.
• Provide general administrative support across the transport operation.
