Job summary

Our Lady & St. Bede Catholic Academy is seeking a Transition Teacher to guide young learners through pivotal early stages. You will deliver a broad curriculum, plan engaging lessons, and support academic, social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive setting.

You’ll work with teaching assistants, senior leaders and parents to create a cohesive learning community, reinforcing literacy and numeracy foundations through hands-on exploration.

Our Lady & St. Bede Catholic Academy is looking to appoint a Transition Teacher. As a Transition Teacher you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey and personal development of young learners during their formative years. This role requires a nurturing, creative, and adaptable educator who is passionate about fostering a love of learning in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

You will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of your pupils. Through engaging lesson planning, effective classroom management, and continuous assessment, you will support each child’s academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being.
