Job summary

Our Lady & St. Bede Catholic Academy is seeking a Transition Teacher to guide young learners through pivotal early stages. You will deliver a broad curriculum, plan engaging lessons, and support academic, social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive setting.

You’ll work with teaching assistants, senior leaders and parents to create a cohesive learning community, reinforcing literacy and numeracy foundations through hands-on exploration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to diverse needs.
• Plan engaging lessons and manage the classroom effectively.
• Conduct ongoing assessment to support progress, social development and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, senior leaders and parents to build a cohesive learning community.
