Job summary

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council seeks a Project Officer to lead service improvement and transformation, reviewing processes and using technology and data to improve efficiency and customer experience. You will collaborate with managers, IT teams and partners to deliver change, supporting new systems and data-driven solutions across the directorate.

This fixed-term opportunity covers a diverse range of Economy & Infrastructure services, with potential secondment; planning team placement

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 to improve processes and data quality.
• Experience managing projects or workstreams and delivering outcomes within timescales.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across diverse audiences.
• Understanding of information governance, data security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead service improvement and transformation projects.
