Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Assistant Manager in Transfer Pricing to help multinational clients set, document and defend intercompany prices. You will lead pieces of client work, review colleagues, and develop toward a Manager role.

You will deliver policy advice on TP for goods, services, financing and IP, create master/local files, conduct benchmarking, and liaise with tax authorities as needed. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in transfer pricing within a professional services firm or in-house tax team.
• Knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and UK transfer pricing rules.
• Experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking analyses.
• Experience in reviewing the work of others.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage several projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client work on transfer pricing engagements, including policy advice and documentation.
• Lead and develop junior colleagues, plan workloads and review their work.
• Build strong relationships with client finance and tax teams; work with cross-border teams.
• Contribute to proposals and client pitches; help grow the business.
• Keep projects on track against timescales and budgets and raise issues early.
