Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Assistant Manager in our Transfer Pricing team. You’ll guide multinational clients on transfer pricing policies, documentations, and benchmarking while leading pieces of client work and developing junior staff.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across tax specialisms and global Grant Thornton member firms on cross-border projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met and client expectations are managed.

Qualifications

• Experience of transfer pricing work in a professional services firm or in-house tax team.
• Working knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and UK transfer pricing rules.
• Experience of preparing transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking analyses.
• Experience of reviewing the work of others.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client work on transfer pricing policies for goods, services, financing and IP.
• Prepare and review master files, local files and country-by-country reporting.
• Carry out benchmarking studies and economic analyses.
• Draft and review intercompany agreements.
• Support clients through tax authority enquiries and APAs.
• Lead and coach junior colleagues to grow capability.
• Build relationships with client finance and tax teams.
