Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Reading, part of Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, seeks an experienced Transaction Manager to drive customer satisfaction, profitability, and efficient operations.

The role requires proven automotive sales leadership, strong communication and negotiation skills, and FCA knowledge. You will coach staff, coordinate with finance partners, and assist customers with finance and insurance products to close profitable deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior sales position.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Significant showroom experience within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of finance, insurance products, and FCA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the transaction process to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Develop and nurture relationships with the sales team, finance providers, and insurance partners.
• Assist customers with finance, insurance, and additional purchase products, ensuring FCA compliance.
• Prepare and present finance proposals; support the sales team in closing profitable deals.
• Maximise sales efficiency through effective lead management and reporting.
• Support achievement of dealership targets for new and used vehicle sales.
• Provide coaching and support to sales staff, enhancing performance.
• Deputise for the Sales Manager as required.
• Ensure accurate order processing and timely vehicle delivery.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and profitability analysis.
