Job summary

Northern Gas Networks is seeking a Training Administrator to join the Operational Training Team. Based at Thorpe Park, Leeds, this 32-hour-per-week role focuses on coordinating and administering Safety Technical Competency (STC) documentation, and supporting delivery of the wider training portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to manage records and reports, while building strong relationships with delegates and training providers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data tracking.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer STCs via the STC process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Own training reporting and validation of courses, supporting administration.
• Act as the main contact for delegates and training providers with clear communication.
• Maintain up-to-date training records and curriculum database ownership.
• Assist Senior Training Coordinator in delivering the training plan within budget.
• Oversee external supplier processes, including timely payments.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to training-related enquiries in line with policies.
