Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Military Training Support Operator at Minley, Hampshire, to ensure the right equipment, resources and stores are available for training activities. This is a hands-on, full-time role in a dynamic defence environment responsible for supporting training operations and service delivery within a trusted FTSE 100 organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual handling in a real working environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience in logistics, stores, or warehouse environments is beneficial; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensuring stores are managed effectively.
• Carry out equipment maintenance activities in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management activities and operational requirements across the site.
