Job summary

Babcock, based in Minley, Hampshire, is seeking a Military Training Support Operator for a full-time permanent position. You will ensure equipment, stores and resources are available for training exercises within a dynamic defence environment.

You will gain hands-on experience across logistics, stores, operational support and engineering activities, contributing to training readiness while working for a FTSE 100 organisation committed to investing in its people. BPSS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of manual handling in a practical working environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience working within logistics, stores, warehouse, or operational support is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensuring stores are managed effectively.
• Carry out equipment maintenance activities in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management activities and operational requirements across the site.
