Job summary

Babcock International is recruiting a Logistics Support Operator at Minley, Hampshire. You will help ensure equipment and stores are available for military training, supporting Combat Engineering activities and readiness of Armed Forces personnel.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage equipment, coordinate with training exercises, maintain stores, and participate in specialist engineering tasks, gaining strong logistics and operational experience within a respected FTSE 100 organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience of manual handling in a practical working environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience in logistics, stores, warehouse or similar environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensuring stores are managed effectively.
• Carry out equipment maintenance activities in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management activities and operational requirements across the site
