Job summary

Babcock is hiring a Military Training Support Operator to join our Minley, Hampshire team. The role focuses on ensuring essential equipment, resources and stores are available to support training activities within a dynamic defence environment.

You will manage equipment, support training exercises, maintain stores and assist with engineering tasks, building practical logistics and operational skills at a respected FTSE 100 employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual handling in a practical environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience in logistics, stores or operational support is beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensure stores are managed effectively.
• Carry out equipment maintenance in line with Army Publications.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management and site requirements.
