Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Logistics Support Operator at Minley, Hampshire. In this hands-on role you’ll ensure equipment, resources and stores are available to support training activities within a dynamic defence environment.

You’ll manage equipment, issue and receive stock, perform maintenance per Army Equipment Support Publications, and assist with audits and resource management. A Full UK driving licence is required, and the role offers full-time permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience of manual handling in a practical working environment.
• Ability to swim and work safely in a physically active role.
• Experience working within logistics, stores, warehouse, operational support or similar environments is beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Combat Engineering Support services, including transporting, erecting and dismantling equipment for training activities.
• Issue and receive equipment, maintain stock levels and ensuring stores are managed effectively.
• Carry out equipment maintenance activities in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publications.
• Respond to customer queries in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner.
• Support audits, inspections, resource management activities and operational requirements across the site
