Job summary

RTX UK is seeking a Training Designer to develop technology-led training material for defence sector clients. You will design the training architecture, follow CMDC processes, and align with JSP 822 and DSAT standards.

Role involves collaborating with stakeholders, applying adult learning principles, and ensuring EH&S compliance while delivering output in a hybrid, remote-friendly environment with occasional travel to Reading.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing training content.
• Ability to interpret technical and non-technical information for training design.
• Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
• Ensure designs meet internal quality standards and best practices.
• Organised, able to work independently and in fast-paced teams.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Able to gather information from stakeholders for media requirements.
• Eligible to qualify for UK SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design technology-led training architecture per CMDC processes.
• Champion innovative training solutions to meet client needs.
• Ensure outputs adhere to JSP 822, DSAT, and Delta standards.
• Foster a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Perform additional CMDC Training Service duties as required.
