Job summary

Raytheon UK is looking for a Training Designer to craft technology-led training architectures for customer courses. The role offers hybrid working with remote options and occasional travel to Reading.

You will apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles, coordinating with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and ensuring alignment with DSAT and JSP 822 standards. The role requires SC security clearance eligibility, strong organisational skills, and a proactive

Qualifications

• Experience in designing training content.
• Ability to interpret technical and non-technical information for training design.
• Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
• Ensure designs align with quality standards and best practices.
• Organised and able to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to gather technical information from stakeholders for media requirements.
• Must be eligible for SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design technology-led training architecture for customer courses.
• Champion innovative training solutions to meet customer needs.
• Ensure outputs align with JSP 822, DSAT, and project standards.
• Foster a culture of Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties required to complete CMDC Training Service.
