Job description

Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in Birkenhead to recruit for a Permanent Electrical Trainer/Assessor/Lecturer to join the construction team.

The Role:
  • 35 hours per week on a permanent basis.
  • Salary: Up to £42,174 per annum.
  • Join the construction team as an Electrical Trainer/Assessor.
  • Train, support, and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high-quality outcomes, including some in-house delivery.
  • Plan and prepare training documentation for both direct and online delivery, leading to timely completion of Apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
  • Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to arrange visits at college or on employers’ premises, as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33, A1, or TAQA).
  • Knowledge of Skills Funding Agency and Awarding Body requirements for Apprenticeship frameworks or standards.
  • Experience assessing qualifications in the workplace, e.g., NVQs.
