Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer or Graduate who is keen to develop into a Design and Commissioning role. You must be flexible to stay away from home Monday to Friday and have a valid UK driving licence.

Working for this specialist supplier supporting many world-leading manufacturers, you will receive a structured training plan to develop your skills to design solutions for BMS - building management systems. You will work closely with other engineers to support the business whilst being mentored by a senior engineer.

Junior Control Systems Engineer

£25k - £37k + Car or Car Allowance & Overtime

Home Based position - Central UK

Training will be given for the following duties:

1. Assist with the service, maintaining, and commissioning of control systems
2. Complete test reports and schedules
3. Provide technical support
4. Hardware and software installation of control panels
5. Modify new and existing control panels and equipment
6. Provide technical support via phone or online during working hours
7. Assist and support other engineers, third-party technicians, and clients
8. Perform room performance testing according to provided schedules
9. Complete test reports and associated documentation
10. Conduct servicing and maintenance of control systems and panels

The Person

A background in electrical, electronics, or control engineering is required.

Formal qualification - Degree, HNC, HND, or NVQ.

Must be available to travel Monday - Friday; 70% of your time will be on client sites throughout the UK.

Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to question and support others.

Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not essential.

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently.
