Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Screening Technician to run the day-to-day operational side of the National AAA Screening Programme clinics across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

The role involves performing community ultrasound scans to high standards, reassuring men attending the screening, explaining the test implications and ensuring results are correctly documented and processed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scanning as part of the National Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme (NAAASP).
• Reassure men attending the community AAA screening and explain the screening test to them.
• Inform participants of scan results and ensure outcomes are processed correctly.
