Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, invites applications for a Trainee Site Manager based in Prenton. The two-year training programme combines hands-on experience with shadowing, coaching and mentoring across Overhead Lines, Substations and Civils, with progress toward CIOB certification.

Successful candidates will observe, participate, and eventually lead on-site planning, coordinating and monitoring of contractor activities, while upholding safety, environmental and quality

Qualifications

Supervisory experience within Energy, Construction or Utilities.
A degree in Electrical, Civil, or Construction Management is acceptable as an alternative.

Responsibilities

Observe, participate, and progressively lead planning, coordinating and monitoring contractor activities on-site.
Maintain a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
Oversee the Construction and Commissioning stages of projects.
Coordinate design change processes with engineering teams.
Interface with operational colleagues such as protection engineers and Senior Authorised Person(s).
