Job summary

Furrows Group in Shrewsbury is seeking a Ford Transit Trainee Sales Consultant to join the Group Transit Centre. The role emphasizes customer service, showroom presentation, and supporting the sales team with order progression and marketing activities.

Successful candidates will receive Ford manufacture training, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to grow within an Employee Ownership Trust owned business. A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers (meet and greet customers).
• Make drinks for customers.
• Organising and accompanying customers on test-drives.
• Keeping display and showroom to Ford standards.
• Highlighting any additional products relevant to the customer.
• Liaise with the sales team to ensure all documents are processed prior to the handover.
• Updating customers on the progress of orders and contacting potential customers to update them about new vehicles and deals.
• Helping your branch with various marketing activities – from taking stock photos of our products to dreaming up inspiring content for our social media platforms.
• Prospecting and growing customer base.
• Manning off-site promotional events when needed.
• Providing all customers with necessary relevant information and literature.
• Inspecting vehicles pre-delivery
• Organise logistics of vehicles between the dealership & compound
• Learn a full product knowledge of the Ford commercial vehicles
• Protect customers data and help keep accurate and relevant data in order to use safely

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Ford Transit Trainee Sales Consultant based at our Group Transit Centre in Shrewsbury.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills to join our highly successful team. The department has a proven track record on producing trainees through to the full high preforming Sales Consultants.
