Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is assisting a franchised car dealership group on the outskirts of Fareham to recruit a Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk. The role sits within the accounting function and offers comprehensive training to the right candidate.

You will learn Purchase Ledger duties, data input, supplier liaison, and balancing supplier statements as part of a collaborative team, with a Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 schedule and a starting salary of £18,000.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop within an accounting function.
• Educational experience towards accounting (AAT studier).
• Previous experience an advantage but not necessary (1-2 years).

• To build strong working relations with suppliers and participate in meetings as required
• Balancing of supplier statements for nominated accounts
• Any other related activities/reporting as required.
