Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a trainee to join their property portfolio in St Neots, developing into a Property Manager. You will support client enquiries, oversee contractors, and assist with budgets and building compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a property, housing or customer‑focused environment.
• First-class customer service experience.
• Good IT skills including CRM and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Good literacy and numerical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team player with a desire to develop a career in estates management.
• Keen to learn, develop and progress in Property.

Responsibilities

• Manage property portfolio in line with regulations and processes.
• Handle client enquiries by phone and email and take appropriate actions.
• Attend client meetings and conduct regular site visits.
• Oversee contractor performance and address maintenance issues.
• Prepare and monitor building budgets.
• Assist with building compliance management.
• Support major works projects for buildings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure buildings are clean, safe and pleasant for residents.

Our leading Property / Real Estate Management client is seeking a customer focused candidate they can develop into a Property Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. Working from the St Neots office, you will play a key role in supporting the office Property portfolio based in the local area ensuring clients receive an excellent level of service.

• Monday to Friday only - 37.5 hours per week

Duties include (Training provided)

• Manage portfolio in accordance with regulations and process
• Dealing with client enquiries both via phone and email and taking the appropriate actions
• Attending client meetings and regular site visits
• Overseeing contractors performance and any maintenance issues
• Preparing and monitoring budgets for buildings
• Supporting with building compliance management
• Supporting with buildings Major works projects
• Working with internal departments to ensure your building remain clean, save and pleasant for residents

Experience Needed

• Experience with the Property, Housing or customer focused environment
• First class Customer service experience
• Good level of IT experience including use of CRM and MS applications
• Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise
• Good literacy and numerical skills
