Job summary

Silcom Recruitment has a client in Ipswich seeking a Trainee Parts Advisor to begin a rewarding career in the motor trade. You will assist with parts identification, inventory management, and customer inquiries while working closely with the parts team.

The role offers Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm with alternating Saturdays and a basic salary of £25,000 plus a £400 monthly bonus, plus opportunities to learn and develop product knowledge in a busy retail environment.

Our client, a reputable approved retailer based in Ipswich, are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Parts Advisor to join their dynamic team and kick-start a rewarding career in the motor trade industry.

We are looking for a Trainee Parts Advisor to support our client's parts department. The successful candidate will assist with parts inventory management, customer inquiries, and sales.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Trainee Parts Advisor:

• Assist with the identification and ordering of automotive parts.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, both in-person and over the phone.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain an organised and up-to-date parts inventory.
• Assist in the receipt and stocking of incoming parts shipments.
• Support the parts team in daily operations and tasks.
• Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively.

The Package:

Basic Salary: £25,000 + Bonus of £400 paid monthly!!

Monday to Friday hours [8:00am – 5:30pm] + (1-in-2) Saturdays!!
