Job summary

Silcom Recruitment has a client in Ipswich seeking a Trainee Parts Advisor to begin a rewarding career in the motor trade. You will assist with parts identification, inventory management, and customer inquiries while working closely with the parts team.

The role offers Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm with alternating Saturdays and a basic salary of £25,000 plus a £400 monthly bonus, plus opportunities to learn and develop product knowledge in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and motivated trainee.
• Willing to learn in motor trade.
• Support parts inventory and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identification and ordering of automotive parts.
• Provide excellent customer service in-person and over the phone.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organised parts inventory.
• Assist in receiving and stocking incoming parts shipments.
• Support the parts team in daily operations.
• Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers.
