Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Operative for its Traffic Management business, based at the Clutton depot near Bristol.

The role involves assisting with traffic light operations and plant, coordinating with direct labour and sub-contract labour, and ensuring targets and deadlines are met in an outdoor environment. Ideal candidates will have highways or reactive maintenance experience and hold NHSS 12D/M1/2 and NHSS 12A/B certifications.

• NHSS 12D M1/2 certification required.
• NHSS 12A/B certification required.

Responsibilities

About the role

We have a superb opportunity for a Trainee Operative to join our Traffic Management business, based out of our Clutton depot near Bristol.

Responsible for working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. These include the operation of Traffic Lights and plant, where trained and certificated with the addition of various other aspects of Traffic Management.
