Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Trainee Operative to join our Traffic Management team at the Wokingham Depot. You will work with direct and sub-contract labour, operating traffic lights and plant, and helping meet project targets.

The role suits outdoors-minded individuals with highways or reactive maintenance experience, good communication, initiative, and a willingness to learn NHSS 12D/12A certificates.

• Previous highways or reactive maintenance experience.
• Effective communication skills.

About The Role

We have a superb opportunity for a Trainee Operative to join our Traffic Management business, based out of our Wokingham Depot.

Responsible for working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. These include the operation of Traffic Lights and plant, where trained and certificated with the addition of various other aspects of Traffic Management.
