Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Operative to join our Traffic Management team, based at our West Sussex depots. You'll work with direct and sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines, supporting day-to-day highway maintenance tasks and traffic management duties.

This role suits outdoors enthusiasts who can take initiative, communicate effectively, and hold NHSS 12D M1/2 or NHSS 12 A/B certifications.

About the role

We have a superb opportunity for a Trainee Operative to join our Traffic Management business, based out of our West Sussex Depots.

Responsible for working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. These include the operation of Traffic Lights and plant, where trained and certificated with the addition of various other aspects of Traffic Management.
