STW (Non Destructive) Ltd is based in Sheffield and offers in-house and on-site testing services to a varied customer base which includes the Chemical, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Medical, Nuclear, and General Engineering industries.

Trainee NDT Technician

• The ideal candidate will be an engineer with non-destructive testing experience looking to join a well-established business in a permanent role offering long-term job security, hands-on one-to-one training with industry experts, and further career progression.
• Candidates without previous NDT experience, who show an enthusiasm for learning, may be considered.
• GCSE's grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and Science are advantageous.
• Full training and career progression is available to the right individual.
• Brief outline of duties once qualified include maintaining equipment and calibration system, inspecting and reporting, defect sizing, on and off-site inspections for customers, reading and understanding specifications/procedures/techniques.
• Mon-Fri 8hrs a day.
• This role will be minimum wage, with a considerable pay-rise once PCN qualified.
