Job summary

Lloyd Honda Motorcycles/BMW Motorrad in Carlisle is recruiting a Trainee Motorcycle Sales Executive. The role offers a basic salary plus bonus and involves a 45-hour week with a focus on customer-facing motorcycle sales and delivering excellent service.

You will handle test drives, pricing and financing options, and ensure smooth deliveries while building lasting customer relationships. Training and development are encouraged within a supportive group.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
• Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
• Strong work ethic and adaptable to change. Attention to detail and accuracy.
• You must be IT literate and hold a full UK driving licence.
• Holds a motorcycle licence with a keen interest in bikes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily sales activity, including contacting prospects to obtain new business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a TraineeMotorcycleSales Executiveto join Lloyd Honda Motorcycles/BMW Motorradbased in Carlisle.

Salary: Basic Salary plus bonus

Hours: 45 hours per week

Role responsibilities:

• Understanding and adapting to the customers’ buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
• Agreeing price and payment methods including advising on any financing options with the customer direct, working within company guidelines.
• Ensuring that each delivery is completed to the highest standard, followed up with a personal phone call to check that the customer is happy with their purchase. Maintain contact with customers to build relationships and future business.
• Planning and organising own daily sales activity – for example by telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing customers or general enquiries) to obtain new business.
• Working alongside colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service to our customers.
• Positively participating in training and development opportunities to assist the Group in achieving its aims and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
