Job summary

AXA Group is seeking a Trainee Claims Handler in Belfast to join our Motor Claims team. You will handle and settle damage claims in a timely, cost‑effective and customer‑focused manner, while ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

Induction & Training: 4 weeks full time, with IT & office kit provided. Salary: £26,826 starting base, with an increase after 6 months' probation. You will work a mix of home and office locations.

Qualifications

• 5 pass GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
• High level of customer service experience.
• PC and system skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and settle damage claims in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Deal with referrals, escalations and complaints as appropriate.
• Contain claim costs by following processes and using resources effectively.
• Deliver consistency in estimating, minimise leakage and fraud.
• Deliver excellent customer service and act with integrity.
• Be flexible to undertake other duties as assigned by Team Manager.
