AXA Group in Bolton is seeking a Motor Claims Handler to join our Commercial Claims team. You will manage a portfolio of motor claims, investigate outcomes, communicate decisions, and work to settle claims cost-effectively in a busy, customer‑facing environment.

The role is full-time with a hybrid work model; 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with 40% of time at home and increasing to 60% from December 2026. Training is provided onsite at Bolton, followed by a flexible second day.

Formación

• Claims handling experience is essential (motor or property preferred).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage claims.
• Confident communicating over the phone while using computers.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Excellent listening skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of motor claims.
• Investigate claims to determine policy and liability decisions.
• Communicate decisions clearly to relevant parties.
• Apply effective claims handling methods to achieve cost-effective settlements.
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships.
• Identify potential fraud and refer suspicious claims for investigation.
• Update systems accurately with information.
• Provide excellent customer service, treating customers fairly.
• Work as part of the Commercial Claims team in Bolton.
