Job summary

Red Dot Search in Bolton is recruiting a Trainee Claims Handler for motor insurance. No insurance experience needed. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with free parking and fully funded CII qualifications.

You will handle motor claims, learn liability, work with policyholders and brokers, and progress through in-house coaching. Salary £24,479–£26,500, with annual reviews and hybrid work after probation.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
• Willing to work towards the CII Certificate — fully funded, in work time.
• No prior insurance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take motor claims when they first come in and capture details accurately.
• Manage your own caseload by phone and in writing, keeping each claim moving.
• Be the point of contact for policyholders and brokers.
• Learn how liability works — identifying fault and why.
• Flag anything that does not look right.
