• Proactively manage people, vehicles and materials to meet planned moves, including staff levels and holidays.
• Conduct customer visits during and after moves to check quality of service and manage any shortfalls.
• Investigate claims and complaints.
• Monitor and maintain transport legilsation requirements.
• Adhere to Group health & safety requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date training matrix for all operative staff.
• Adhere to ISO/BAR accreditations.

Job description

To gain knowledge of all aspects of the Removals business including sales, move management and operations. To assist the Branch Managers in leading and managing the branches within the group to achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets. This will be achieved through the efficient planning, monitoring and management of the daily operation. Deliver a consistent superior service in line with the company quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, monitoring and management of the daily operation.
• Accurate cost reporting on in-house system e.g. wages, Purchase Order's etc.
• Complete pre move call 48 hours prior to each move.
• Complete weekly trading report and monthly forecast.
• Proactively manage people, vehicles and materials required to meet the number of moves planned, including staff levels and holidays.
• To conduct customer visits, during and after moves to check on quality of service. Ensure that any shortfalls are fully investigated and managed to conclusion.
• Investigation of claims and complaints.
• Monitor and maintain all transport legislative requirements.
• Compliance to Group health & safety requirements.
• To maintain and monitor an up to date training matrix for all operative staff.
• Adherence to company ISO/BAR accreditations.
