Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are seeking a Trainee Maintenance Engineer (Full Training / Food) based in Stafford. You will join a leading food manufacturer, receive full training and benefit from unlimited overtime and clear progression.

You will train in mechanical and electrical fault finding, support planned maintenance and reactive repairs on production and packaging machinery, with potential to advance to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern once fully trained.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship required.
• Willingness to train in mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Interest in progressing within food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on production and packaging machinery.
• Develop mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Assist with maintenance of production equipment and packaging lines.
• Work with experienced engineers to build technical ability.
• Receive full training and pursue progression opportunities.
• Potential to move to 4 on 4 off shift pattern after training.
