Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Maintenance Engineer (Full Training / Food) in Stafford. £28,000 - £32,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime. You will receive structured training from experienced engineers, developing mechanical and electrical skills in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Unlimited overtime available with potential to progress to a fully qualified multiskilled engineer, supported by a strong training plan and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or practical technical experience.
• Willingness to develop into a multiskilled maintenance engineer in a food/FMCG setting.
• Commutable to Stafford.

Responsibilities

• Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across production and packaging machinery.
• Develop mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills alongside experienced engineers.
• Assist with maintenance of production equipment and packaging lines.
