Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is helping a Preston-based manufacturing business recruit a Junior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will diagnose breakdowns, perform repairs, and carry out routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance on FMCG machinery.

The role offers training, uncapped overtime at enhanced rates, and long-term career stability within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance knowledge with FMCG machinery.
• Experience in diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
• Welding and fabrication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimise machine downtime.
• Carry out routine inspections, PPMs, CMMS records, stock management, welding, and fabrication.
• Work Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week with enhanced overtime.
