Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) for a leading UK food manufacturer. You will perform PPM and RM on production machinery, support internal maintenance projects, and help ensure safety standards are met.

The role features a 2-week rotating shift pattern (05:30-13:30 and 09:30-17:30) with occasional weekends and paid overtime; on-site training and progression opportunities are provided to develop multi-skilled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on production machinery
• Experience in performing preventive and reactive maintenance
• Ability to work in a food manufacturing environment
• Understanding of health and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and RM on food production machinery and equipment
• Assist with internal maintenance projects
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Work on a 2-week rotating shift pattern with early and late shifts, including occasional weekends and paid overtime
