Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a major food manufacturer in Hereford hire a Maintenance Engineer. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs, with ongoing training and funded qualifications including 18th Edition.

The role features rotating 12-hour shifts (3.5 days per week, 42 hours on a baseline), a salary of 43,000–48,000 plus life assurance, training and progression opportunities within a large stable company.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering qualification or higher.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Work on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs with training.
• Support 18th Edition training and other funded qualifications.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts averaging 3.5 days per week (42 hours).
