Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure team and support construction materials testing across projects in the UK.

You will learn to test concrete, soils, aggregates and bituminous mixtures, complete test sheets and produce reports in line with QA systems, with full training provided. A safety-focused mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
• Experience of laboratory testing of construction materials
• Health & safety focused approach

Responsibilities

• Testing of construction materials
• Completion of test sheets, including all calculations
