SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a motivated Trainee Field Technician to join the Infrastructure division. You will support site and laboratory testing activities while learning industry standards and best practice under guidance from experienced colleagues.

This entry-level role offers full training, ongoing development, and the chance to grow within a leading inspection, testing and certification company. Flexibility is provided with office-based, remote, or hybrid options.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required as full training given.
• Strong communication skills and a health & safety focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory.
• Completing test sheets, including calculations.
• Supporting report production in line with QA systems.
