Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a motivated Trainee Field Technician within the Infrastructure division to learn on site and in the lab. You will support sampling and testing of construction materials under supervision and gain hands-on technical skills while contributing to QA processes.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; a valid UK driving licence is preferred and CSCS card can be arranged for you.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Strong communication skills and a health & safety focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card desirable but we can facilitate this for you.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing of construction materials on site and in the laboratory.
• Completing test sheets, including calculations.
• Supporting report production in line with QA systems.
