SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Senior Materials Technician to join our Infrastructure team. The role combines field and laboratory testing, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with UKAS-accredited lab practices knowledge and willingness to travel as needed.

You'll perform and interpret tests on construction materials, maintain calibrations, report defects, and contribute to auditing, training and development of site technicians, helping deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory and field-based tests.
• Maintaining equipment calibrations and reporting defects.
• Auditing, training and development of site technicians.
