North & West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice is seeking a Trainee Generalist Adviser for our Grants Project in Gloucestershire. The role offers a clear training path with a comprehensive programme, supporting clients through referrals and holistic casework to access the right advice and support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage referrals from the Gloucestershire County Council Crisis Resilience Fund to clients in need.
  • Work with clients to understand individual needs and connect them with appropriate advice and support.
  • Provide holistic, casework-based support addressing issues the clients face.
  • Collaborate with a friendly team and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality advice and support within the Grants Project.

The Role

As part of our Grants Project Team, you will play an important role in helping people access the advice and support they need.

You will manage referrals from the Gloucestershire County Council Crisis Resilience Fund, supporting clients who may be experiencing challenging circumstances. You will work with clients to understand their individual needs, help them access the most appropriate advice and support, and provide a holistic casework service aimed at addressing the issues affecting their lives.
