Job summary

North & West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice is seeking a Trainee Generalist Adviser for our Grants Project in Gloucestershire. The role offers a clear training path with a comprehensive programme, supporting clients through referrals and holistic casework to access the right advice and support.

Qualifications

• Trainee and qualified opportunities available with a comprehensive training programme to develop the required skills.
• Ability to manage referrals and provide holistic casework to help clients access the right services.
• Interest in working with local communities and collaborating with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals from the Gloucestershire County Council Crisis Resilience Fund to clients in need.
• Work with clients to understand individual needs and connect them with appropriate advice and support.
• Provide holistic, casework-based support addressing issues the clients face.
• Collaborate with a friendly team and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality advice and support within the Grants Project.
