Lebus Upholstery is recruiting a Trainee Frame Assembler to join our busy manufacturing team at Lebus Upholstery in Scunthorpe. You will learn to assemble wooden sofa frames on-site, using hand and air-powered tools, following detailed instructions to meet our quality standards.

Full training is provided; prior frame assembly experience is helpful but not essential. The role is permanent full-time, 39 hours per week, with pay at £12.71 per hour plus a suite-equivalent bonus and benefits, based

Qualifications

• Hands-on and practical with a strong eye for detail.
• Enjoy working with tools and physical products.
• Willing to learn and train in frame assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wooden sofa and furniture frames using a range of materials.
• Use hand and air-powered tools and adhesives to fix components.
• Follow detailed work instructions to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out lifting and manoeuvring of completed frame structures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area according to health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow between departments.
• Take part in training to develop frame assembly skills, tool use, and quality awareness.
